Supported by our in house and onsite shipping agent, Cockfield Knight, AV Dawson’s quayside team can receive advanced warning of cargoes and be prepared with the relevant equipment and labour ready on arrival providing customers with a fast and effective service.

These operations are supported with a range of quayside warehouses and business units where customers can store product types from pallets, bags and bulk to specialist equipment and project cargo. Many of these warehouses have in shed crane capacity and are meters from the quay enabling efficient store to ship transfer.

AV Dawson quayside is also home to three impressive fabrication halls which stand 45m high and have internal crane capacity of 20 tonnes making them ideal for the construction of large structures which can be shipped directly from the site.

All of these services are supported by our in-house vehicle and plant fleet reducing risk and improving cost certainty for our customers.
